Creating a Patio Pond Feature
Trevor, from Elemental Landscape Design, attended our June meeting and showed us how to put together a beautiful deck or patio pond with a bamboo fountain.
Find the right container for your area. He used one designed for this purpose but told us sealing the drainage holes on a regular pot works as well.
He added rocks, plants, a water pump and accessories. 
The result was a beautiful addition to anyone’s patio.
It was a very interesting and informative demonstration.

Early June in the Smith Gardens
In early June all of the borders, flower beds, rockeries, and even the vegetable garden are full of flowering plants. We take garden walks each day, and weed, deadhead, and do maintenance as we enjoy the garden.

A New Website
Garden News and Views is a companion site to the Kamloops Garden Club website. It is a subdomain site, added to provide a place to post non-club news, and sharing of gardens. It can be a bit hard to find on the internet (unless you bookmark it), but there is a link to this site on Kamloopsgardenclub.com.
